Light, falling on the surface of the paint, passes through a transparent binder, partially reflected from the surface of the film over the entire spectrum range and creating the effect of a mirror-like, shiny surface (flare). The pigment absorbs rays selectively: one part of the rays that make up the spectrum of daylight is absorbed, and the other is reflected from the surface of the pigment, creating a certain color perception in our eyes.
